2027 Golf Policies & Guest Guidelines

At Fyre Lake Golf Club, we do things a little differently. Our goal isn't to get as many golfers through the course as possible. It's to deliver an exceptional golf experience with superior course conditions, outstanding hospitality, and a pace of play that's hard to find anywhere else.

To maintain the Fyre experience for every guest, we ask all golfers to review our policies before arriving.

Tee Time Reservations & Cancellation Policy

At Fyre Lake, we limit daily play to just 64 golfers, with tee times spaced 20 minutes apart. Because of this commitment to quality over quantity, all tee time reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel your reservation, we will issue a Fyre Lake gift card for the value of your prepaid golf reservation, which will be emailed to you for use on a future visit.

All cancellations and modifications must be requested at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled tee time by phone or in person.

Due to our limited daily availability, we do not offer cash or credit card refunds for canceled tee times. Eligible cancellations will receive a gift card credit toward a future Fyre Lake experience.

We appreciate your understanding as this policy allows us to protect our limited tee time availability and provide the best possible experience for every golfer.

Credit Card Payments

A 3% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions at Fyre Lake Golf Club.

Golf Cart Policies

Our championship Nicklaus Design golf course is maintained to the highest standards, and we ask every guest to help us protect its exceptional playing conditions.

• Two golf carts are provided per foursome.

• Golf carts must remain on designated cart paths around all tees and greens and wherever otherwise indicated by signage.

• Driving in the fescue is strictly prohibited.

• Golfers are responsible for any damage caused to golf carts during their round.

Walking is welcome and encouraged. However, no discount is offered for walking.

Pace of Play

At Fyre Lake, we believe golf should be enjoyed, not rushed.

Our 20-minute tee time intervals and 64-player daily limit are designed to give golfers something that's becoming increasingly difficult to find — room to enjoy the game.

Our expected pace of play is approximately four hours for 18 holes.

We ask all groups to maintain a reasonable pace and remain aware of the groups around them.

Food & Beverage — The Fyre Way

Forget the typical golf course food and beverage experience. At Fyre, we do things differently.

Our on-course food and beverage service is designed to keep you enjoying your round without unnecessary interruptions.

The Fyre House — Holes 8 & 17

As you approach holes 8 and 17, you can place your food and beverage order directly through your golf cart's GPS system. Your order will be ready for pickup, or you can take a break and enjoy your meal on the Fyre House patio.

Fyre Airstrikes — Drinks Delivered to You

We don't operate your typical beverage cart.

Instead, we offer Fyre Airstrikes — our unique on-course beverage delivery service.

Need a cold drink while you're out on the course? We'll bring it directly to you, wherever you're playing.

No waiting for the beverage cart to come around. Just another way Fyre does golf differently.

Outside Food & Beverage Policy

To maintain our service standards and comply with Illinois liquor regulations:

• All food and beverages consumed on the golf course must be purchased through Fyre Lake Golf Club.

• Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

• All alcohol must be purchased and served or distributed by the Club.

• Guests bringing outside alcohol onto the property may be asked to leave without a refund.

Golf Course Dress Code

Fyre Lake Golf Club maintains a traditional golf dress code that reflects the quality of our championship facility.

Appropriate golf attire is required at all times.

Acceptable attire includes collared golf shirts, mock-neck golf shirts, golf shorts of appropriate length, and traditional golf pants.

The following attire is not permitted:

• Tank tops, tube tops, and halter tops

• Swimwear or bathing attire

• Gym shorts and athletic workout clothing

• Cutoffs and excessively short shorts

• Mesh shirts and inappropriate casual attire

We appreciate all guests respecting these standards while enjoying the Club.

Practice Range Policies

Our practice facilities are designed to help golfers prepare for their round while enjoying the same quality standards found throughout Fyre Lake.

Proper golf attire is required on the practice range, and the same dress code standards that apply to the golf course also apply to all practice facilities.

We ask guests to respect the practice areas, follow posted instructions, and help maintain the exceptional conditions of our facilities.
